Case Studies: Hospitality

We have considerable experience handling both new locations and remodels in the hospitality industry. We are familiar with the industry’s special logistics needs.

Logistics projects for the hotel industry represent approximately 20 percent of our total business. We have considerable experience handling both new locations and remodels and are familiar with the industry’s special logistics needs.  For example, we understand that these projects may require special attention and resources due to their size and volume.

New Property

We’ve provided complete logistics services for nearly every size facility, involving anywhere from 50,000 to 2 million pounds of furniture, fixtures and equipment.  Regardless of size, hotel projects usually involve many details and rather lengthy inventories.  Your NDS team will work closely with you and your team to ensure we have the storage capacity and delivery/set-up personnel available to handle your projects in a timely, efficient way.

Remodel

Because hotels are always open for business, they can be tricky to remodel.  When introducing a new breakfast bar in a major hotel chain, we provided storage of their furniture, fixtures and equipment and then delivered them in a trailer that remained on-site until the completion of the project.  This allowed the contractor in each location to access and install the items on an as-needed basis.  We also can arrange a more extensive floor-by-floor delivery, set-up and rubbish removal or structured deliveries by type of items, such as casegoods first, then fixtures, artwork and other items.

I don’t know if you watch the Voice, but my team turned our chairs first! If you don’t watch; that means we started using you first. Now I hope you guys will get more business from us. I wanted you to know that your hard work and dedication to helping us quickly is so appreciated.
